Schnauzer - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Freckles
Description
Freckles is an abused and shy 19-month old Particolored Schnauzer. He actually is "registered," but we don't care about that at Pet Savers, and we had him neutered. He is at the shelter, but is able to roam a bit...still very fearful of people. We expect a turnaround soon. Update: August, 2008... after several months, Janice, (one of our female dog whisperers)... has finally been able to hold him. We've since been able to brush him... and now he comes up to us and licks our fingers. Slowly, but surely. UPDATE: October, 2008... We are able to pick up Freckles now on a daily basis and pet him and now... kiss him as well. We've been able to bathe him and give him a good grooming. He romps and plays with his "breezeway" friend, Levi. Freckles is just not the same dog. Maybe he should just be our mascot!
