H1>Meet Dudley DoRite! Dudley DoRite is a male yellow Dachshund Yellow Lab mix. His vet birthday guess is 3/14/08 and he weighs 17.20 pounds. Dudle DoRite visited the vet clinic 9/17/09 to receive his heartworm testing and fecaltesting. Heartworm tested postive and fecal tested negative. Dudley DoRite visited the vet clinic 9/18/09 to receive his heartworm treatment. He rested 2 weeks with 2 follow up vet visits. Dudley DoRite visited the vet clinic 10/10/09 to receive his neuter and shots with rabies. He is 100% healthy and ready for adoption. Pictures taken 9/19/09. Dudley DoRite was discovered on Highway 59 in Atlanta, Texas 9/16/09. He was in front of an oil change business. Chantelle S. of Atlanta, Texas, fellow animal lover with Bikers Against Animal Cruelty and a former adopter from this rescue stopped to help. Chantelle approached the oil change business owner and was informed Dudley DoRite was his dog and he did not care if Dudley DoRite was run over or not. Chantelle asked to take Dudley DoRite and the owner said, "Yes." Dudley DoRite was rescued smelling like used motor oil and very friendly. Chantelle contacted this rescue as soon as she loaded Dudley DoRite in her Jeep. Dudley DoRite is a very friendly fellow. He is quick on his feet and enjoys company with humans and other animals. Dudley DoRite is a quick learner. He knows his name and will wag his tail when he hears it. Dudley DoRite loads up in the Dog Rescue Van when the door opens. He is crate, potty and leash trained. All animals for adoption are rescued from shelters or owner surrenders. Every JTR rescued animal is fully vetted and 100% healthy prior to adoption. Puppies under 4 months old receive their shots from a DVM. A spay/neuter contract is required for adoption. The vetting of an adult animal includes spay/neutered, shots with rabies, heartworm and parasite tested. Treatment of heartworms, dentals, cherry eye repair, mange, parvo exposure and broken limbs are some examples of what is done to save lives. Vet records come with adoption along with the last date of interceptor for heartworm prevention and frontline placed for flea control. Click here to see JTR's Homeless Animals for Adoption! JTR will transport and ship any animal. All rescued animals deserve a wonderful home now and not sit waiting for months. Everyone wishing to adopt an animal from JTR must complete an adoption application. This application asks for general information about the adopter, adopters family, other current and prior pets and previous veterinary care. If you have never had a family pet before, follow up veterinary calls will be made during the year to insure the animal is being well cared for. Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTRs contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required. Once the application is approved the adopter may meet and or adopt any of JTR's animals. A signed adoption contract is required. Adopters with approved applications are top priority to JTR.
