BEAR is DESPERATE! He was taken in as an abused and abandoned stray a few years ago and given a good life, a good family and health and security for the first time in his life...... THEN PROBLEMS STRUCK!! His "MOM" is very, very sick and needs to undergo Chemotherapy and he can no longer live in the house and his mom cannot take care of him outside! Bear is 5 years old and a bit timid around strangers. Given him a little time and room and he soon warms up! He has his best buddy, ROCKY, who is also listed for adoption and would probably accept another gentle and outgoing buddy in another home, Bear will shy away from kids and HATES cats! Bear is very laid back and loving in his home and is housebroken and current on his shots and worming. He is probably heartworm positive, but can still live a good life and/or could be treated for heartworms. He will be neutered prior to adoptive placement!
